Parma Ham Wrapped Avocado Slices

Following my 'Nibbles' post just now, here's what I've quickly put together to satisfy my craving for picky food.

Parma Ham Wrapped Avocado Slices

Simply peeled slices of avocado wrapped in smoky, salty, parma ham and nothing more. I think these would make very elegant dinner party canapes, but for now, they're all mine, mine, MINE!

Those look tasty and I bet they were. Parma ham seems to have an infinity with lots of things. Try it wrapped around slices of ripe melon or pineapple spears. Utterly delicious!

I must say - I am excited about this one! I have to use my avocado and just bought Parma...like Marie, I usually wrap it with Melon. I never thought avocado. I see this in my future! Thanks!

I'm not too keen on it wrapped around melon but I think I'd love it with avacado. Nibbles are my favourite. Tapas & dim sum probably my favoutire foods. Must just go raid fridge for lunch you've made me hungry.

Simple and elegant, Julia. At college we often use parma ham for lining terrines, it's also great in a soffrito base for starting all sorts of things

I made this for guests on Saturday night with some salty soft cheese and a few basil leaves inside too!
