Sunshine After The Storm

We’ve had some beautiful weather this weekend, here in the South Eastern outskirts of London. Stunningly beautiful clear blue skies and glorious sunshine with cold, crisp winter air. Such a contrast to the terrible storms of last week.

According to the weather reports though, a cold snap is about to bring the first true winter weather to Britain in the form of plummeting temperatures and snow. I think I’ll make some soup to take into work tomorrow, to give me some home comfort in the office and warm me up from the inside.

In the meantime I’m going to savour the wonderful sunshine while it lasts.

I love tulips, they are my favourite! I bought some last week to cheer the place up.

What lovely photos! You're putting your new camera to good use!
The poussin look delicious too! I haven't tried them before so I might give them a go this weekend!

Thanks! I think I'm starting to get the hang of the camera now. There's still loads to learn though!

Yes tulips really are cheery August Girl. A nice splash of colour for the dull winter.

Wow, those are fabulous photos. Tulips are so good to perk you up in a gloomy day.
