A Year in Pictures

Well the champagne has been popped, the glasses have been raised and here we are in 2009! I'm feeling very optimistic about this new year - 2008 was a generally a very good year for me and I hope that 2009 will be even better. But before I start looking forward I thought I'd take one last glance over my shoulder at the year that was, culinary speaking. So here is 'A Slice of Cherry Pie' 2008, in pictures (click on each photograph to view the associated blog post).

Wishing you all a very happy new year!

Lovely collection of pictures, is great to look back and see them!

Could do with the cooked breakfast this morning, I overslept and have been eating strawberry jaffa cakes in lieu of a proper breakfast! ;-)

Happy New Year Julia! I just hope we have the weather for picnics this summer and then I may have an excuse to get a gorgeous basket too! I am crossing my fingers and ignoring the fact that we have a few horrible months left to go :)

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons bring
the best to you and yours!
