Welcome to New Visitors!

Looking at my stat counter I see that I have a huge number of new visitors today as, incredibly, Blogger has chosen this as its blog of the day in the 'Blogs of Note' section!

I'd like to say a very big "hello and welcome" to you all. I really hope you enjoy reading this blog - which is all about home cooking and English seasonal food - and I do hope you'll visit again.

Thank you so much to the people at Blogger who chose this for their blog of the day; I'm really quite stunned and feel hugely honoured - you've made my day!

Lovely to "meet" you Julia! I was intrigued by your blog title and couldn't resist stopping by for a quick visit.

Love your outlook on food. It reminds me of how we cook in my family (here in the southern U.S). Using seasonal ingredients, love and whatever we happen to have on hand!

Thanks for throwin' out the Welcome Rug,

Anna K.

Love your food blog - I try to make a lot of this food when it's in season but unfortunately I'm not very good. Hopefully, you'll be able to give me some pointers. I love your blog, it's sweet.

Had to check out the newest "blog of note"...glad I did. Clever blog name. I loved the idea of the food bag challenge...what fun. The photos & stories seem almost like having a mini vacation in Britain. I'll keep checking in for more of what you share about your part of the world. Thanks...

I admire you for making it into the Blogs of Note section! I just started my blog and I was wondering if you have any tips on how to get people reading. It's much different than yours in that it's a poetry site, but I want to get some visits!
